Well folks its nearly here. Ignite Columbus 2 will kick off promptly at 6pm here at Lextant in the old smith brothers hardware building. RSVP if you haven’t already!!
Our first Ignite was well recieved and everyone had a good time. We had pizza, robots, spiked cider, about 13 presentations and good fun. This next Ignite takes the whole concept even further with 20 speakers, 1 raffle, 2 sponsors (Lextant & EdgeCase), more pizza, pop and beer- finally sponsored goodness!
We have a packed evening of presenting so do us all a favor and be there at 6pm to sign in, get a name tag and get socializing.
Ignite Columbus 2 Schedule:
6:00 PM Arrive – Hello My Name Is (socialize, network, do that thing you do)
6:20 PM Take a minute to recognize the people that made this event happen- Sponsors Say Hello
6:30 PM Presentations Begin! We’ll do them in 10 presentation blocks with a 20-minute break inbetween

We got a lot to do so we’re kicking presentions into full swing promptly at 6:30PM – PLEASE be here by then!!!
Presenters
Presenters first introduce who they are/what they do, and then jump into their 5 minute presentation. Following the presentation they can answer a few questions from the crowd.
Crowd peoples
Try and be quiet and respectful during presentations. We have plenty of nooks and spaces here at Lextant if you need to make/take a call as to avoid interrupting the sessions.
Extra bits
- presentations will be video recorded (probably going to youtube or viddler, vimeo, insert 2.0 video site here), after the event
- presentations will be posted on slideshare after the event
- we’ll have a few fun research activities going on for people to participate in if they want
- plan to have a real time twitter status screen for people to interact with (txt to etc), some visualization fun
Directions & Parking
Lextant is located at:
580 North 4th Street, Suite 610, Columbus Ohio
Park anywhere in the lot either in the front of the building or in the back. Don’t worry about numbered spots (after 5pm its free for all!). If you park in the back you must walk around to the main enterance of the building-(that’s the enterance next to the visitor lot and not the enterence that’s facing 4th.)
There will be hostess to greet you as you enter the building and they will send you up to the 6th floor for the event. Ignite signs should also help guide you.
